There is no end to this madness. You see a cell tower in the distance, but it never seems get any closer. There really is no reprieve. The only noise you hear is your breathing and the moans and growls of the undead inching every closer. You run to avoid zombies or run towards the glowing green supply crates that give you weapons. You don't have to face this endless nightmare without a little help, however, as you can equip yourself with a perk, such as skipping ahead 1500m or having more gun drops. All these things help make this into a great experience and one that I can't get enough of. Each game only lasts between a few seconds to a couple minutes if you are very lucky and this makes jumping back in so easy, especially when you just need complete one more mission to unlock that next gun.
Find your grave and get the item you had when you died the previous game.
This game isn't perfect, for some people it may be too simple and may grow repetitive after a while. Also, some of the sections in the corn fields are WAY too hard and you can't see the zombies until they are already eating you face away. These are small things, however, compared to a game that proves that simple is better. They don't need fancy virtual analog sticks or a cheesy story, they throw you into this world with no hope and all they ask of you is to survive as long as you can. I couldn't recommend this game more and the more I write about this the more I want to jump back in. So I think I will do that. Goodbye!
- Simple is better
- Amazing atmosphere
- Controls do not get in the way
- Mission structure and unlockables lead to tons of replay value
- Later corn fields are a little too difficult and a little cheap
- Ads interrupting the feel of the game and being very "in your face"
